The South Fork of the Flambeau

A trip down the South Fork is a trip back to a bygone era. Beginning at Round Lake in the Township of Fifield, northeastern Price County, it travels through absolutely wild country. Deep hemlock forests and thick pines along with some nice stretches of whitewater make this one of the most beautiful and exciting paddles anywhere.
